True story: 10 mins before I had to decline the 1st superday interview for CIBC’s investment banking recruitment

Had to carry 12+ umbrellas for C-suite executives for an investor tour on my 3rd day at my new REPE internship

I thought I blew my chances of breaking into my dream investment banking role

Did the 2nd superday round and CIBC managed to squeeze me in and meet with 2 MDs at the end

In the end still landed the investment banking summer analyst role at a

bulge bracket (Thank God)

Goes to show that my interview prep paid off and set me apart from the competition despite rescheduling
